Noting that covid-19 helped in increasing the number of online shops due to not being able to go out completely thus anything needed even groceries from supermarket are ordered via phone; the little and the big thing needed is ordered. And this trend is approached by many companies as they try to make discounts and offers to attract more customers. The concept of buying online has the positive and the negative side.
     Online shopping has various advantages that lead people to accept the idea of buying online. To start with the first advantage is that people are able to compare the different prices of the different shops and choose the most appropriate shop so that they can handle the prices. This is a very easy activity where you are sitting you can pass over different online shopping applications and see the prices of each and choose the best in your point of view.  And what’s nice about products and services online is that it might be cheaper since suppliers won’t pay expenses such as rent, electricity, salaries, and many others. Moreover, people are searching for a free minute they are trying their best to save time from their day and this is the second advantages about buying online. People have to fulfill many tasks daily like going work, studying, have time with their kids if they are married, they have to see what their kids want and do thus they aren’t able to spend extra time going to the mall, being stuck in the traffic, to shop. By the help of the application, you can find any item you need without going from one store to another to check. Imagine How it’s comfortable to sit home wearing pajama, drinking cup of coffee and buying all what you need. How ever, online shopping isn’t for clothes only it for anything you might think about like clothes, groceries, furniture, equipment, toys, books, and any think that might come to your mind. To add most stores are available 24/7 so on your day, in any time in your twenty-four hours whenever your free you can check what you need. As some can’t handle crowded places, they can’t hear too much noises so they prefer to shop at home while relaxing. Noting that shopping online can be done in any place you are in and able to use your phone and choose what you want. Furthermore, with the online shops you say goodbye to all excuses that you face if you want to send a gift for anyone in another place. What is meant that when it’s the birthday of a friend or anyone from your relatives living aside or during any holiday you like to send gift but how such thing can be achieved? The process is easy you search for the item you want and buy it as money is transferred online through the credit card and this shop will send your gift. Concluding with last but not least advantages is the problems like where to park the car, waiting too long in lines to reach the cashier and pay, buying useless things just to finish the pressure from the salesman and many other will be solved.  As many people can’t afford expensive things so they always search for lower price and now a days people and reselling things they have but don’t use it so if one can’t buy new item, he can buy used one. 
       In contrast, online shopping isn’t accepted by people where they see it’s not beneficial. People may think that if product isn’t seen by their eyes and in front of them so they can see the quality then it is not necessary to buy since online shop may cheat you and send an item that has poor quality. Then it’s not good to spend money on items that perhaps it might be good and not surely.  And they think that the price of buying online is the same as going to store even though the item may be a little bit cheaper but they will need to buy delivery. But what they don’t know that in each item they will save money and even if they pay delivery it will still be useful. Also, shops tend to pack the product with several layers of plastic and cardboard especially if it’s glass products or something that can be broken which in return increase the pollution. However, mistakes should be excluded cause each mistake will take time to be corrected. Some shops may send a different item from what you have ordered or there will be something missing or even if you order clothes or shoes you might need a smaller or bigger size. All this takes time as some shops don’t exchange so it will end by paying money on product not getting benefits from as each time you need to pay delivery charges.  To continue, many shops are seeing it is more profitable to be online rather than having store and paying many expenses. But what employees will do? How they’ll live? Many are being kicked out because the business no longer need them if  they kept working online to answer customers their salaries are low. And what’s important that in shopping online you won’t find anyone to help you whatever you want you have to ask via message on WhatsApp and this may take long time to get back a reply from the employees as you will be shy to keep asking. As many hang out and shop together but when all will be shopping online then gathering of friends will reduce and you’ll start to be anti-social person. 
     To sum up, there are many views for shopping online where some agree and other disagree. However, by the appearance of covid-19 whether you like or not you are forced to admit it. Many businesses had the opportunity to expand by the use of online applications where they get more customers from outside.
